Adolin Kholin was a lighteyes from Alethkar on Roshar.

Family

Adolin was the first son of Dalinar, and his younger brother was Renarin. There was near to nothing known about his mother. Gavilar has been his uncle, Dalinar's brother. Navani, Gavilar's widow, was his aunt, and he called her Mashala. Gavilar's children, Jasnah and King Elhokar, were his cousins.

Appearance and Character

His hair was mostly blond, with streaks of Alethi black, and his eyes were blue. Despite the hair color he and Renarin they were Dalinar's legitimate sons.

Though he liked chatting, courting different young women and duelling, he took his responsibilities as the eldest son of a highprince earnest and was on the way to become a good highprince himself.

Abilities

He was a Shardbearer, owning both a Shardblade and a Shardplate, which he had inherited from his mother's side of the family on his 16th birthday.

He had a white stallion, a Ryshadium horse named Sureblood, one of only a dozen Ryshadium in the entire Alethi warcamp on the Shattered Plains.

Calling

Adolins Calling was duelling and he frequently resorted to challenging other lighteyes to settle disputes. Since arriving at the Shattered Plains he had been unable to duel as much as he had previously due to his fathers insistence that he follow the Alethi Codes of War which state that needless duels should be avoided during times of war so that commanding officers are not wounded.
