Isasik Shulin was the Alethi royal cartographer on Roshar.[1]
He acted as the Royal High Cartographer to Gavilar Kholin. In his capacity as royal cartographer he made smaller copies of the kings maps for Dalinar[1]
It is possible he hails from the city of Shulin.
He was present on the Shattered Plains, and accompanied the trip to Narak and onward to Urithiru.[2][3]
He couldn't join the expedition to Hearthstone on the Fourth Bridge as he was out mapping the eastern part of the Shattered Plains.[4]
Trivia
- He was named after Isaac Stewart, one of the interior artists for The Way of Kings.
