Talak was a Veden man, who served Liss, the Weeper, an assassin on Roshar.[1]
Talak had a brutish look to him, and although he was a Veden, he had a speckle of red on his beard, hinting at Unkalaki heritage.[1]
Talak replaced Szeth as Liss's servant; Liss had found Szeth creepy.[1] Talak guarded the door when Jasnah Kholin met with Liss about the surveillance and the potential assassination of Queen Aesudan Kholin, Jasnah's sister-in-law.
