Restares is an antagonist of unknown allegiance on Roshar.
He is suspected by Gavilar of orchestrating his assassination by Szeth.[1]
He seems to have a position within Amaram's close staff, because he advises the highmarshal to take for himself the Shards that Kaladin had won, since Amaram is trained in the sword and accustomed to plate.
