When not enough of Hearthstone's men volunteered Roshone picked more to fill Amaram's army. While [[Lirin]] and [[Kaladin]] were save to this duty (because they were a surgeon and his apprentice and thus vital to the city) Roshone picked [[Tien]] if only to hurt Lirin and his family. Because Kaladin wouldn't leave Tien alone he volunteered and so Lirin and [[Hesina]] lost both of their sons on the same day.{{book ref|sa1|44}} |

Hearthstone was a small town in Sadeas princedom of Alethkar.
