Lopen is a Herdazian member of Bridge Four on Roshar.
Appearance
Lopen has brown hair and deep tan skin just a shade too dark to be Alethi. The fingernails on his hand are slate-colored and crystalline. He haa an old slave's mark on his head. He speaks with a very quick pace. He looks a little flabby around the waist and his left arm has been cut off.[1][2]
History
He calls on Kaladin to pick him to join Bridge Four when Kaladin comes looking for new recruits. Though a one armed man would not be good carrying bridges, Kaladin chooses him because, in contrary to all the other men, Lopen was smiling. When Kaladin asks why Lopen wanted to be picked, the response was because Kaladin was the only one picking anyone.[1]
