A Grandbow was a type of augmenter fabrial attached to a large bow, about as tall as a man. They were designed by Alethi Artifabrians led by Navani Kholin during the War of Reckoning.[1]
The bows have a large enough draw-weight that only someone wearing Shardplate are able to fully draw it. This has led to some calling them Shardbows. Grandbows were used during a chasmfiend hunt by Highprince Torol Sadeas to attack the chasmfiend while Highprince Dalinar Kholin attacked with his Shardblade.[1]
