The Wind's Pleasure made two appearances in The Stormlight Archive. The wind's pleasure was originally chartered by [[Shallan Davar]] to take her to [[Dumadari]] to meet [[Jasnah Kholin]]. Upon finding that Jasnah was no longer there Shallan asked Tozbek to Continue on to the next city. As this pattern repeated Shallan began to act as a scribe for Tozbek to off set the cost of her travels. While traveling down the coast the Wind's Pleasure is paced by a [[Santhid]]. Shortly before reaching the shallow crypts the new member of the crew assists in an armed takeover of the Wind's Pleasure with the goal of murdering [[Jasnah Kholin]] and retrieving her work for the [[Ghostbloods]]. Shallan Hides during the assault and then enters [[Shadesmar]] and convinces The Wind's Pleasure to change so that the crew might have a chance to survive because the thieves had begun killing the crew one by one.
