The city of Rathalas and its leaders rebelled against Gavilar's rule both before and after the unification of the country. After attempts to politically quell the situation fail, [[Dalinar]] Kholin and [[Torol]] Sadeas march on Rathalas and raze the city to set an example for the other highprinces.
