Velinar is a historical figure on Roshar.[1]
Velinar was a lighteyes that lived during the reign of Sadees, presumably in Alethkar. He wielded an ulius during a famous duel for honor with Gulastis.[1]
When Adolin Kholin was fourteen, he misguidedly bought an antique ulius used in the Velinar/Gulastis duel as a gift for Idani. He kept the sword for himself, which had a nick in it from the duel.[1]
