Re-Shephir, the Midnight Mother, giving birth to abominations with her essence so dark, so terrible, so consuming. She is here! She watches me die!

—Death vision, Epigraph 58[1]

Re-Shephir is an unknown being on Roshar.[1] It seems likely that she is an Unmade, due to the similarities in her title and name to Yelig-nar. It is possible, since she is the Midnight Mother and has "essence", that she is related to Midnight Essence.
