Palona is Highprince Sebarial's mistress.[1] She is friendly towards Shallan, and alludes to the fact that had also been found by Sebarial in the same way that Shallan was. Sebrarial complains about her in a friendly way, and she seems to have much authority in his warcamp. She is amused at how amazed Shallan is about the technology in the warcamp.
