Omal is an Azish general on Roshar. He is a short man who wears both the colors and the uniform expected of his station.[1]
When the coalition of monarchs decided to mount an offensive against Emul, Omal accompanied Yanagawn and the other members of the party from Azir. He complimented Dalinar both on how he had warned the coalition of Taravangian's treachery before it occurred and on how he had led troops in battle. Omal reported that almost all of the Vedens who had betrayed them had been eliminated and expressed satisfaction that they had not been able either to rescue Taravangian or to destroy the coalition's supplies.[1]
