Heb was Dalinar's embodiment in his twelfth vision. Since Heb's home was attacked by Midnight Essences Dalinar (within Heb's body) fought against the Midnight Essences and ran away with the family. On their escape they ran over more of this beasts and then were rescued by two Knights Radiants (The Starfalls Windrunner and his female companion).
