The Battle of Thaylen Field is one of the major engagements in the True Desolation. Many voidbringers gathered outside Thaylen City in the cognitive realm, then somehow managed to transfer to the physical realm when they were ready without using the oathgate. There were many Fused there, and some ancients who didn't have bodies; This allowed them to inhabit the stone in the ground, becoming Thunderclasts. To complete their troops, the unmade filled Sadeas' troops with the thrill to fill them with bloodlust and turn them on Dalinar. Many important events transpired throughout the course of this battle.
