The Battle of Thaylen Field is one of the major engagements in the True Desolation. Many voidbringers gathered outside Thaylen City in the cognitive realm, then somehow managed to transfer to the physical realm when they were ready without using the oathgate. There were many Fused there, and some ancients who didn't have bodies; This allowed them to inhabit the stone in the ground, becoming Thunderclasts.
