Nan Balat Davar is a lighteyed Veden on Roshar.[1]
Family
Balat was the second son of Lin Davar, his mother was dead. He had four siblings: Helaran, Wikim, Jushu and Shallan. After Nan Helaran, Balat's eldest brother, disappeared and was proclaimed dead by their father, Balat gained the title 'Nan'.
Appearance and Character
Nan Balat was twenty-three years old, and had suffered an injury in his leg that nearly caused the surgeon to cut it off. He walked with a cane. He is betrothed to Eylita Tavinar.[2]
He had a fascination with killing animals, the only way he can 'preserve his sanity.'[1] Whilst Shallan pursued Jasnah Kholin, Nan Balat ran the affairs of House Davar in the stead of his dead father. He and his brothers made public appearances and spread rumors that his father was planning something large.
