Shadows of Self is the second book in the Mistborn Adventures series.[2] It is slated for release in fall 2015.[1][3]
An excerpt was released on Brandon's website which involves preparation for Wax and Steris's wedding.
After starting it during writing A Memory of Light and then leaving it about a third done, Brandon struggled to start again and so wrote the sequel, Bands of Mourning and Shadows of Self at the same time.[4] Brandon has stated that Shadows of Self, Bands of Mourning and the last "Wax & Wayne" book The Lost Metal form a trilogy and that will be it for 1900's era post-Final Ascension Scadrial.
