Lady Kelesina Shores es una noble residente de Nueva Seran. Defiende la libertad de su ciudad y la de otras ciudades de la Cuenca al margen de Elendel, llegando incluso a colaborar con el Grupo.

Apariencia y personalidad

Lady Kelesina es una mujer madura. Se la describe como una mujer escultural, y lleva anillos en todos sus dedos. Wax la considera una noble narcisista bastante corriente. Vive en una mansión de estilo antiguo, de arquitectura y diseño evocadores de las mansiones de la época pre-Catacendro.

Le gusta considerarse una especie de depredadora en la sociedad política.

Historia

Independencia de Nueva Seran

Lady Kelesina estaba muy interesada en la independencia de la Cuenca de la propia Elendel. Llegó a un acuerdo con Señor Conjunto: a cambio de su ayuda para matar a ReLuur y distraer a Wax de los proyectos de Set, Suit aplastaría a Elendel y proporcionaría a Kelesina un ejército. Kelesina había matado a ReLuur y, en caso de éxito, había enviado a Suit uno de sus pinchos como prueba.

Lady Kelesina was very invested in the independence of the Elendel Basin from Elendel itself. She made an agreement with Mister Suit: in exchange for her help killing ReLuur and distracting Wax from the Set's projects, Suit would crush Elendel and would provide Kelesina with an army. Kelesina had killed ReLuur, and, assuming success, had sent back one of his spikes as proof to Suit.

Kelesina's Party

Lady Kelesina threw a party, attended by Wax and Steris. During the party Wax baited Kelesina into revealing her connection to the Set. He told her that he possessed a mysterious coin and knew of the happenings northeast of New Seran. Alarmed, she fled the party and contacted Suit through a primitive telephone. She argued with Suit, saying that Wax could not be successfully distracted from his mission, while Suit was convinced another mystery would catch his attention. When Wax confronted her after learning she was responsible for the Nightstreet Gang's attack on their train, she was shot in the forehead by her Brute maid, who was under orders from Suit. Once dead, her maid took a Goldmind out of Kelesina's pocket, which was later recovered by Wax.

Trivia

• Hoid often sneaks onto the grounds of her mansion and has at least a somewhat reasonable claim that he actually owns it.
• There were at least three, maybe four worldhoppers at Kelesina's party, counting Hoid and Khriss.
