Elors Durnsed is the leader of the United Tradeworkers Union on Scadrial.[1]

In 341 PC, Durnsed was the leader of the trade union during tense negotiations with the Noble Houses Collective. The talks hit an impasse, but Durnsed abruptly withdrew his opposition to closing the negotiations, allowing the existing contract to continue.[1]

Many rank-and-file union members were enraged by Durnsed's capitulation, which he did not explain. Rumors swirled that Durnsed had been corrupted during secret meetings with representatives of the nobles; a political cartoon in The Elendel Daily depicted him as a sycophant willing to accept bribes.[1] Durnsed's actions contributed to the labor unrest in Elendel that continued for several years.[2]
