Fob is a merchant in T'Telir, the capital of Hallandren on the planet Nalthis. [1]

Relationships
Fob is one of Denth and Tonk Fah’s many contacts in T'Telir. As a merchant, he has made a deal with the Hallandren government to clear land using Lifeless workers. He then rents the land to growers. As payment for the loan of lifeless workers, all of the food produced on Fob’s land becomes the property of the Returned gods during wartime. Denth contacts him in an effort to convince him to harvest his lands early, before war breaks out. If he does so, Fob will make a nice profit and Hallandren will have one less source of food should they go to war. However, harvesting early would only serve his competition should Idiran and Hallandren relations remain peaceful. Fob does not immediately believe Denth’s claim that war is inevitable, however after seeing proof of Vivenna’s Royal Locks, he promises to consider Denth's proposal.
Vivenna believes that war is inevitable and hopes this meeting will improve her homeland's chances of fighting back, but this is actually one of many plans Denth uses in an attempt to start a war between Idris and Hallandren. [1]
