The Cult of Returned is a religion on Nalthis that eventually grew into the Iridescent Tones, the theocratic government of Hallandren in the time of Susebron.[1]
Their beliefs and practices are essentially the same as those of the modern Hallendren people: the Returned are seen as Gods with a great task to carry out, and are supplied with Breath and kept alive until they can perform it, after which they are free to give away their Divine Breath and die a second time.
