Khriss is a dark skinned woman from the shardworld Taldain.[1][2]
She knows far more about the cosmere than Hoid or Nazh.[3]
She and Nazh showed up in the Cognitive Realm of Scadrial and talked to Kelsier. They left after Kelsier told her of his meeting with Drifter.[5]
She appeared in a party on Scadrial, stealing a dance with Wax and asking about his powers and relating it to physics. She was also mentioned in a broadsheet ad, telling people who hear talking tools to contact Khriss and Nazh.
Speculation
While not appearing directly in any of the published books (before the releases of Bands of Mourning and Mistborn: Secret History), she is likely the author of the Ars Arcanum. This is supported by the conversation she had with Wax in Bands of Mourning, suggesting that she was doing a lot of research in to the magic system.
