Baon is a bowman from Taldain.[1]

Also going by the alias Vao, Blunt was accompanied Galladon[2] and Demoux.[3] It seems likely that he is a member of the Seventeenth Shard and if so, it is possible that his master is the recipient of The Letter.[4]
Blunt wondered if there was something to the abilities that the Purelakers ascribed to their fish, but Galladon thought he had a tendency to believe in superstition. Blunt also spoke Selan well.
Blunt was not from Dragonsteel.[5] It has been confirmed that he is Baon,[1] originally from Taldain, the Shardworld where White Sand presumably will take place.[6]
