Greater Roshar, also known as the Rosharan System, is the name given to the solar system containing Roshar, Ashyn, and Braize.[1] At least Roshar and Braize are considered part of the ten core Shardworlds, making this solar system vital to the greater workings of the Cosmere. Ashyn does not currently have a shard[2], so it is unclear how large of a role it will play.

While only three planets have sentient life here,[3] they are not the only planets in the Rosharan System. There are others with non-sentient beings, which may refer to microbial life, vegetation, or even something supernatural, but they are considered unimportant.[4]
