The Varvax was a race of aliens in the Milky Way.[1]
Varvax are small creatures that float in a nutrient bath. They are surrounded by a large, inorganic exoskeleton that contains quartz and granite. When speaking, they created clicks and snaps with hand gestures.
By their own standards, they, like all civilized species, are of Primary Intelligence. This means they are peaceful and try avoiding conflict, going so far as to apologize when they are a victim.
