[[Waxillium Ladrian]]'s Uncle, [[Edwarn Ladrian]], is a member of the Set. Edwarn Ladrian operated under the alias Mister Suit, and provided funding for [[Miles Dagouter]] and the [[Vanishers]]{{book ref|mb4|epilogue}}. The Vanishers were instructed to kidnap female descendants of the Lord Mistborn in order to breed more [[Misting]]s for some unknown purpose{{book ref|mb4|7}}. Wax discovered that his uncle lived after the capture of Miles Dagouter. During Wax's encounter with his uncle, Wax stole [[Edwarn's notebook|Edwarn's pocket book]], which contained appointments and notes{{book ref|mb4|epilogue}}.
