Some think that the Dustbringers were Kalak's order of [[Knights Radiant]]. As the smoke seems to imply heat, and heat was something Radiants manipulated in the old stories,{{ref|b|twok|c|59}} this seems likely.

==Ideals of the Dustbringers==
The Ideals of the Knights Radiant, also known as the [[Immortal Words]], are a set of rules by which the Radiants lived. The First Ideal, identical for all orders of the Radiants, is used as their motto. Each of the Radiant Orders then had an additional four ideals that were unique to each order.
