When [[Vin]] and [[Elend Venture|Elend]] discovered that there was a storage cavern in Urteau, Vin snuck into the cavern.{{book ref|mb3|5}} Elend sent [[Spook]] to the city to gather information about the Citizen and his government.{{book ref|mb3|14}} At an execution, Spook fought several of Quellion's soldiers. During the fight, he used a [[Thug]] as a shield, ending up [[Hemalurgy|spiked]].{{book ref|mb3|16}} Later, Elend sent [[Sazed]], [[Breeze]], and [[Allrianne Cett|Allrianne]] to Urteau to bring it back under the control of the [[New Empire]].{{book ref|mb3|12}}
