* The term "Heightening" is briefly mentioned in Oathbringer by a Shin man in Shadesmar. He said "You're invested. What Heightening are you... No. Something else." This is only further supported by the existence of Nightblood in Roshar, who bends colors (as it normally does) and draws Szeth's stormlight like it drew Vasher's Breath.
