This seems to be from the perspective of one of the [[Knights Radiant]], from before the [[Day of Recreance]]. It possibly refers to the period when Honor was dying, and raved at the last generation of Knights Radiant.{{book ref|sa3|113}} The phrase "Shard of my Soul" could refer either to Honor (as one of the Sixteen Shards of Adonalsium and the Shard behind the Knights Radiant) or the Spren (as the "shard" the Radiant in question was Nahel-Bonded to) of whatever Knight Radiant this is from the perspective of.
In an alternative theory this seems to be from the perspective of one of the [[Knights Radiant]], who was part of the [[Recreance]]. The [[Almighty]] already died, thus has "forsaken" the Knights Radiant. The phrase "Shard of my soul, where have you gone?" could refer to the former Spren of that Knight Radiant.
