Wayne

Plantilla:CharacterInfobox Wayne was a Twinborn on Scadrial. He was both a slider and a bloodmaker.

He was a friend and colleague of Waxillium Ladrian. He lived in the Roughs and worked with Wax to keep law and order. He visited Elendel to help investigate the Vanishers and attempted to convince Wax to return to the Roughs as a lawman.

He had an unhealthy fondness for hats and the ability to "steal" accents, both of which he used extensively to cement various undercover identities.

History

From the roughs, Wayne has always been a thief interested in others property, at one point he was encouraged to use a gun and actively rob people. His first victim was a bookkeeper that was accidentally shot and killed when the gun fired accidentally. Sentenced to death, he was spared by Wax, although the details are vague, this would result in Wax becoming a colleague and friend.

As remorse for the death of the bookkeeper, Wayne sends half of what he earns to the victims family, and refrains from using guns, using duelling canes instead.

Powers & Abilities

Wayne is twinborn, a Bloodmaker and a Slider.

As a Bloodmaker, Wayne can store health at the price of being unwell, and tap in to the store later to heal wounds. As long as Wayne has an adequate storage of health, he can recover from most wounds, and even recover from poisons and regenerate lost fingers. This ability has made Wayne an asset in disabling traps that would've otherwise been lethal.

As a Slider, Wayne can form a "speed bubble", allowing him room to converse in private, change in to a disguise or engage in a fight uninterrupted.

Wayne is talented at disguising himself, using various costumes and voices, he has shown to be highly convincing, and has been able to pose as various races, ages and genders.

Since Wayne refrains from using guns, he trained himself to use a pair of duelling canes, he is shown to be at a modest level of skill, able to take down opponents with guns but has quite easily fallen after being shot.
