Sailorspren are a fake spren. These spren are described as large and yellow with tentacles and a bright red stripe on its back. New sailors are tricked into thinking that they exist and they eventually bet a lot of money, against other sailors, on the existence of sailorspren. They would then learn that sailorspren aren't real.
