Raboniel is impressed with the scholarly work that [[Navani]] has done, and she requests that [[Navani]] help her in developing [[Warlight]]. with both their efforts they manage to develop not only [[Warlight]], but also [[Anti-Stormlight]] and [[Anti-Voidlight]]. Raboniel then uses Anti-Voidlight to finally kill her [[Fused]] daughter [[Essu]].
Later when Raboniel reveals her plan of using [[Anti-Stormlight]] to kill the Radiants [[Spren]] Navani uses a [[Fabrial]] trap to stop Raboniel, and then, with what remains of the weapon Raboniel used to kill her daughter, stabbed Raboniel to attempt and kill her. However, since there wasn't enough [[Anti-Voidlight]] Raboniel is left in a weakened state{{book ref|sa4|106}}.
When [[Navani]] is confronted by [[Moash]] Raboniel uses what's left of her strength to latch on to his foot, and then launch herself at him to claw up his body, in order to buy time for Navani to get to the Sibling{{book ref|sa4|107}}. Navani later returns and kills Raboniel, treating her with the most respect she can{{book ref|sa4|113}}
