'''Ettmetal''' is a metal of unknown origin used by the [[Southern Peoples of Scadrial]]. It explodes when it gets wet, can be used to make bombs, and fuels the air ships and cubes.{{book ref|mb6|22}} It is likely potassium or sodium, as they are the most common alkali metals (metals that explode in water).
It is the term used by [[Allik Neverfar]] and does not translate to a word known in the language of the Basin.
