Spark likes to break things and like other ashspren, she want to know what is inside. Shallan could see no sign of Spark when meeting Malata, nor there has been any information on how she looks.{{book ref|sa3|27}}

According to The Diagram, Dustbringers would be the Radiants most likely to accept their cause. Taravangian located in their lesser ranks [[Malata]], who was able to bond Spark. With that, they were both suddenly been thrust into its upper echelons. {{book ref|sa3|i|5}}
