Lopen has brown hair and deep tan skin which is just a shade too dark to be Alethi. His fingernails are slate-colored and crystalline. He hashad an old slave's mark on his head, which is now covered with a [[Bridge Four#Tattoos|Bridge Four tattoo]]. He looks a little flabby around the waist.
