A wounded [[Elhokar|King Elhokar]] iswas taken to Lopen's home in Little Herdaz to recover after a failed attempt on his life. Deciding to conceal the king for his own safety, but being averse to lying, Lopen's family members somehow persuadepersuaded the king to temporarily abdicate in favor of Lopen so that they could truthfully say that "King Elhokar" was not with them.
