In many ways I like this better than thought or intent or belief. I mean, why kind of pattern is thought? The problem is, what waveform is Kaladin ever using? However, why do the parshendi hum? (do they even fit into the magic system? Whoops, different questions. think about spren) And the soul casters hum as they work together?
