Edward Ladrian operated under the alias Mister Suit, and provided funding for Miles Dagouter and the Vanishers{{ref|b|mb4|epilogue}}. The Vanishers were instructed to kidnap female descendants of the Lord Mistborn in order to breed more Mistings for some unknown purpose{{ref|b|mb4|c|7}}. He was discovered by Wax after the events leading to the capture of Miles Dagouter. Wax stole his uncle's pocket book during the encounter. The book contained appointments and notes{{ref|b|mb4|epilogue}}.
