;Plot Summary
Alanik and Jorgen travel briefly through the nowhere, and Alanik can feel his pain, anger, and resentment. They emerge in the hangar of Wandering Leaf, watching the Superiority ship explode, killing Jorgen’s parents along with many members of the National Assembly. Alanik searches for Gran-Gran’s mind, but can’t find her. She tells the others that Gran-Gran and Cobb made it out, but she doesn’t know where they are. Jorgen tells the others that they’re heading down to Platform Prime, and that there’s some things they need to take care of.
