When they meetmet, Shallan keepskept the pretense of Tyn being alive and managesmanaged to get Mraize to trust her with a task. After that, he was also confirmed to have surveilled the site to supervise the task. He was pleased when he saw Veil again; andhe believinginitially theythought she had not triedcompleted to do theher task, but she delivered maps and some texts from Amaram.
