Lopen has a very positive outlook in life. Despite experiencing great misfortunes, he never accepts these things as part of his identity{{wob ref|8436}}, and would even jokejokes about his disability.{{book ref|sa1|73}}{{book ref|sa2|12}} He is often nonchalant, exhibits the stereotypical{{book ref|sa1|i|4}} Herdazian arrogance (e.g. calling himself "The Lopen"), and liberally usesusing rude gestures when insulted{{book ref|sa1|62}}{{book ref|sa2|41}}{{book ref|sa3|121}}), and has a sense of humor that people around him find strange{{book ref|sa2|76}},. butEven so, Lopen hasproves provenhimself to be both compassionate and reliable.
