Keeping the bit about it being odd that Feruchemists can use aluminum, but any reason why would be too speculative for the Coppermind--the 17th Shard forums would be a great place to discuss it, if you want. Regardless, Selish magics and possibly some Rosharan magics are powered by two Shards, but aluminum still interferes with them, so personally I would guess that if there's a reason for Feruchemical aluminum being different, it's not Feruchemy's dishardic nature

It is unclear why Identity can be stored in and withdrawn from an aluminiummind when other Invested Arts cannot effect aluminium.
