The conflict began when the [[Emuli]] claimed the city [[Sesemalex Dar]] as their capital city, and due to the city being a successful trading city, the [[Tukari]] wanted the city for themselves. The Emuli also claimed that the city was their ancestral homeland, and a gift from the [[Herald]]s, because the city's pattern is central to their religion.
