:: Hey! I think that sentence can be updated to just say 'A second method of becoming...' and take out the rarer - the page was written pre RoW so it was still seemingly very rare for Surgebinders to exist, but now it's clear that there are a lot more than before. Feel free to update that bit. :D In terms of the Surgebinder vs Knights Radiant, it's because a Surgebinder is anyone who manipulates the Surges - which includes Knight's Radiant, Honorblade welders, Fused - but Knights Radiant in particular are a group that is headed by Dalinar, so not everyone identifies with that group. It's like how Vorinism is the religion of five different nations, but those nations are distinct from one another. I hope that helps, let me know if I'm not making sense! I have two issues with the section below:

A second and even rarer method of becoming a lighteyes is to become either a Surgebinder or Knight Radiant.

Is it really a rarer method? As far as I know Kaladin and Rock won a Shardblade, but there's way more Knight Radiants.

Also how can you become a surgebinder and not a knight radiant? Honorblade? Fused? I think this needs to be explained better
