:: I would still disagree with that interpterion as the quote seems to differentiate between the other magic systems listed. It mentions that Scadrials system and Nalthis' are distinct from each other. The mention of Taldain within the quote is drawing another possible way of initiation, its being raised as a different way it can be done. ::: The weird thing, though, is that sand mastery is at least believed to be genetic by the sand masters, since Kenton's Darksider mom is supposedly why he was weaker.
