'''Cob''' is a man whom [[Hoid]] comes across in [[Kholinar]] after the coming of the [[True Desolation]]. He is married to [[Kheni]]; they have a child, who is killed during the Desolation. Kheni goes into a catatonic state as a result; Cob stays with her to take care of her.
