On the way to Narak, [[Shallan Davar]] revealed her abilities as a Lightweaver to Dalinar. When the Alethi arrivesarrived at Narak, they encounterencountered [[Rlain]] who tellstold them that something has happened to the Parshendi, that they have been turned into monsters. Dalinar then taskstasked Shallan with finding the [[Oathgate]] to [[Urithiru]], so that the Alethi army cancould escape if the battle against the Parshendi goeswent poorly.

The Alethi then attackattacked Narak. The Parshendi arewere spread out on three different plateaus, and the Alethi split up, in order to attack all three groups at the same time. Armies led by highprince Roion, highprinceHighprince Aladar, and Prince [[Adolin Kholin]] engageengaged the Parshendi. Dalinar himself staysstayed on a fourth plateau, commandingto command the battle.
