If this is true, I think that the Expanse of the Broken Sky is Taldain, as if any sky is broken, it is one where half is always lit by a bright sun, and the other is in perpetual near-darkness. They are as opposite as can be, and I suspect that this would manifest very strongly in the Cognitive Realm, as it is something humans (and other invested / intelligent beings) consider in a very particular way, and it has a large impact on the planet.

Shadesmar

The expanse of vapors, I believe, is known to be Scadrial.

I posit that the 4 worlds that can be reached from Sadesmar are the closest 4 to Roshar on the Cosmere Constellation Map. These are: Scadrial, Sel, Nalthis, and Taldain.

If this is true, I think that the Expanse of the Broken Sky is Taldain, as if any sky is broken, it is one where half is always lit by a bright sun, and the other is in perpetual near-darkness.
